IDUG Regional and education coming to Dallas
IDUG is having another regional meeting in Dallas this year similar to the one they had last fall. The idea is to bring the quality of IDUG education to a local level. It's become obvious that not everyone can travel to IDUG anymore but maybe you can get a taste of it on a smaller local scale. This years dates are September 7-8. Check out the details and sign up at IDUG.ORG. There's a link at the top of the page under IDUG Headlines or more specifically http://www.idug.org/idug-regional-events/idug-regional-forums.html. There are a couple of bonus items to entice you to attend this year. If you come to the regional meeting you can apply the cost of this meeting to your attendance at the 2011 IDUG North America in Anaheim. Also, if you attend this meeting you can do free certification testing on September 9, the day after the two day meeting. If you attend both days of the meeting that's $395 that can be applied towards the IDUG NA and free certification tests at $200 each. If you take advantage of all the bonuses it's almost like IDUG is paying you to attend.
